Because the Trout Club is organized as a for‑profit corporation, Blaisdell said it cannot directly access many grant programs and asked whether the town could act as a municipal fiscal sponsor or whether a nonprofit sponsor could pass funds through. The Selectboard asked staff to obtain a PDF of the Fiscal Sponsor Agreement and to consult Two Rivers about potential sponsorship; no funding commitment was made at the meeting.
