Board approves annual policy reviews and completes first readings of many policies

The Hubbard‑Radcliffe board approved its annual reviews of several policies and completed first readings of a broad set of board policies; members rejected a proposal to move players up a level under Policy 504.06.
The board approved the annual review of Board Policies 103, 505.8, 506.1, 506.2 and 506.4. In a later motion the board approved the first reading of a series of policies including 201; 210.05; 401.01; 409.02; 501.15; 502.03; 503.01; 503.11 and its related rules; 507.2 and exhibits; 603.01; 603.03; 603.06; 604.01; 604.03 and its rule variants; 604.05; 605.04 and exhibit; 607.01; 713; 804.05 and exhibit; and 901.
Board members discussed Policy 504.06 (a policy concerning moving players up to the next level) and no board member was in favor of changing that policy at this time. The first readings were recorded as approved; the policies will return to the board as part of the regular policy process.
