Raymore public-works update: 58 Highway curb and sidewalk, street preservation near completion

Public Works reported the curb and sidewalk work along 58 Highway and the annual street-preservation program are expected to be completed by the end of next week, sidewalk replacement begins Aug. 10, and pavement striping is ongoing after July night shifts.
Public Works staff told the Raymore City Council July 27 that several street and sidewalk projects are nearing completion and that additional work will begin in August.
"The curb and sidewalk work along 58 Highway, weather dependent, will be completed by the end of next week," Public Works staff member Perry said. He also reported the annual street-preservation program is on track to be completed by the end of next week, sidewalk replacement is scheduled to begin August 10 and will transition into the city-hall refresh project when finished, and pavement striping (night shift) has been underway since mid-July and is expected to wrap in the coming weeks.
Perry invited questions from council members; none were recorded in the minutes. The report was submitted as a written item in the council packet and presented verbally at the meeting.
