Council approves Maplefields licenses, reschedules April 30 meeting and holds executive session with no action

The council approved one-year licenses for RJ Lavallee dba Maplefields, including a 2nd class liquor license, a tobacco license, and a tobacco-substitute endorsement. Alderman Mark Koenig moved the licenses be approved and Deputy Mayor AusƟn seconded; the motion passed 7-0.
Because the ANWSD school budget revote is scheduled for April 30—the same date as the council's next regular meeting—councilors discussed rescheduling and voted to hold the next meeting on Wednesday, May 1, at the same time and place. Alderman Koenig moved the rescheduling motion; Deputy Mayor AusƟn seconded and the motion passed 7-0.
Council also voted to enter executive session under 1 V.S.A. §313(a)(3) to discuss appointment or employment matters; the council returned to open session at 7:54 p.m. and reported no actions taken in executive session.
