Peekskill council unanimously approves three resolutions, then adjourns to executive session

At a special meeting July 27, the Peekskill City Council unanimously passed three resolutions: J-1 authorizing street closures for the Assumption Church procession; J-2 authorizing submission of a WIIA grant application for the Lower South Street Sewer Improvements Project; and J-3 authorizing preparation and submission of a Hudson River Valley Greenway grant application for Fort Hill Park. Each resolution passed with no recorded opposition.
After the votes the mayor opened the floor for public comment; none were present in chambers or online and no emailed comments were received. The council then voted to adjourn into an executive session to discuss employment and litigation matters.
