Council to request Industrial Siting Council details on proposed solar project

Council agreed to follow up and to attend a meeting with commissioners and affected stakeholders on Aug. 4 in Douglas; no formal land-use action was taken at the meeting but members directed staff to pursue ISC documentation. "We have to make that letter to the ISC," the mayor said, noting the deadline to request information is Aug. 12.
