Beavercreek council approved Resolution 26‑35 authorizing an LPA agreement with ODOT for Haines Road resurfacing (PID 126380). Staff said the project is a mill‑and‑fill of Haines Road (from Dayton‑Xenia to Kemp Road), will bring curb ramps up to current ADA standards and includes some curb repairs where needed.
The project was submitted to MVRPC and approved in early 2026; design is estimated for 2029 and construction as early as 2030. Staff estimated total project costs near $1.3 million, with an approximate 60/40 federal/local split and a federal share around $790,560 and a local match in the neighborhood of $527,000. Council members thanked staff and noted the value of grant funding in stretching local dollars.
