Chair Alyssa Marsh told the committee that three members’ terms have ended and that only one of those members (Billy DeMoe) agreed to stay on until replaced. The committee identified two citizen-at-large seats and one North Summit representative seat as open and encouraged members to refer potential applicants; Amy will send the application link to interested candidates.
Staff also announced a personnel change: a new county grant coordinator, Katie Madsen, will join the county from Park City Municipal and Park City Tots and is expected to shadow current staff ahead of taking over grant duties. "Her name is Katie Madsen...she came from Park City Municipal," a staff member said. Committee members discussed that once the new coordinator starts, the outgoing staffer may become eligible to serve in a North Summit seat.
Why it matters: Filling vacancies will keep the committee at full strength for quorum and diverse representation. The staffing transition also changes who will manage the application process and could affect administrative continuity during the cycle.
