County proclaims support for FamilyVision Education Center, lauds homeschool workforce pipeline

The council presented a proclamation to FamilyVision Education Center on July 27, recognizing the nonprofit's work supporting homeschooling families and promoting career pathways for students. Brad Lambert, interim co-director, said FamilyVision aims to be a coordinated leadership and career development hub to help homeschool students access internships, credentials and mentorship.
"We want to become Missouri's first coordinated leadership and career development hub, specifically designed for homeschool youth," Lambert said, describing plans to connect students with mentors, workforce credentials and local employers. County Executive Steve Ellman read the proclamation and thanked the organization's board, staff and volunteers for their work to bolster the county's future workforce.
