Warren County adopts bonus policy for pass-through state funds and approves $1,500/month IT consulting agreement

Staff explained the bonus policy was prepared by attorney Schmidt to meet the requirements of incoming state programs; the staff stressed the funds are pass-through monies and not county-budgeted funds. "It's not county monies that's not budgeted or anything like that... it's just special state programs that the money comes in," the presenter said. The county then approved a consulting agreement with Bianca Magnoli at $1,500 per month to assist with camera projects, an Outlook migration and other courthouse IT needs. "We felt the best approach would be an independent contract agreement... dollars 1,500," a commissioner said; the motion to approve both items passed by voice vote.
