A redevelopment commission representative described a series of anticipated expenses totaling about $61,000 this calendar year, including a $17,500 water study, $20,000 for sanitary sewer standards work, a $9,600 pond repair, appraisal fees and a refundable payment to a farmer whose crop timing conflicted with a sewer plant project.
Council reviewed account balances (representative said the redevelopment account had a balance of $981,541.64 as of July 23) and approved advertising for three additional appropriations: $15,000 for professional services, $10,000 for appraisal fees and $10,000 for property maintenance. Motions were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
