At its June 4 meeting the Tulsa Metropolitan Area Planning Commission approved Consent Agenda item PUD-182-8, a minor amendment to PUD-182 that reduces a side setback from 5 feet to 0 feet to allow a lot split converting an existing duplex into two townhouse lots.
Staff told the commission the code defines a duplex as two dwelling units on a single lot and that the proposed lot split would reclassify the building type to townhouse; the applicant must provide building plans certifying adequate fire protection between the units before the split. The commission voted 10-0 to approve the consent-agenda item as recommended by staff (motion by Craddock, second by Turner-Addison; vote 10-0-0).
