Landmark Solutions’ representative, Larrissa Darnaby, said the project would provide covered storage for recreational vehicles and boats, be managed remotely with an electric gate, include screening and a green buffer at the rear, and prohibit commercial vehicle storage. Darnaby said she had experience as a former Owasso planner and noted the City of Owasso had concerns about the northern half of the property being designated transitional rather than commercial; she planned to follow up with Owasso staff.
City staff reviewed the request and found it consistent with the Commercial/Transitional designation and non‑injurious to proximate properties. Commissioners asked about screening and long‑term maintenance; Mr. Craddock said screening and fencing made him more comfortable with the proposal. The commission recommended approval, motion by Whitlock, second by Humphrey, vote 9-0-0.
