The Senate Judiciary & Rules Committee approved minutes for 01/26/2026 and 02/04/2026 by voice vote. The committee then considered four RS bills and voted to send each to print:
- RS33146: Technical statutory correction to remove an obsolete reference to Rule 16(j) in a mediation statute (presented by Jason Spellman). - RS33147: Proposal to codify priority rules for applying partial payments among juvenile-case fees (presented by Jason Spellman). - RS33394: Transparency labeling proposal for products that used fetal tissue in research or production (presented by Sen.
