At the July 27 meeting the Yerington City Council approved the consent agenda by motion. Councilman Nick Beaton moved to approve the consent items and Councilman Omar Lopez seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The consent agenda included payment of city bills identified in the meeting record as Checks #42038 through #42085 totaling $216,668.98, and approval of minutes from the June 22, 2026 regular meeting. After the motion, a member of the public said she could not find the minutes on the city website. "I can't see the minutes on the website," Robin Biggs said. City Attorney Charles Zumpft responded that the board packet is available to the public as soon as it is available to the board and that Ms. Biggs could pick up a packet at City Hall.
No further votes on the regular agenda were taken because the meeting lost a quorum later due to Zoom connection problems.
