After executive session Selectboard records town operating total and adjourns
Summary
Following a short executive session to reconcile final numbers, the board recorded town operating numbers and adjourned; staff will place the finalized budgets and supporting materials in the budget book.
After returning from executive session, the Chair (S1) reported finalized town operating numbers and directed staff to place the updated spreadsheet into the budget book for Kathy to post.
"Tom has brought the numbers in for the town — Town operating numbers for the year, $421,509," said Chair (S1) after the board exited executive session at 08:09. Members noted additions (veterans memorial line, DRB stipend) would be largely offset across the budget.
With staff tasked to reconcile a few remaining items and prepare the book for the next Monday meeting, the board moved, seconded and approved adjournment. Members reminded staff that some carryovers (library) and nonprofit budgets remained outstanding and should be included once available.
