"So if we were to do the same thing this year, take 80,000 off, we could ask for $4.30, roughly," Chair (S1) observed while members discussed purchases (including new trucks) that influence capital needs. Members proposed $4.40 as a conservative ask to avoid taking a TAM loan and to reflect anticipated state road funding and leftover balances.
The board also discussed the equipment repair fund, noting different printouts showing balances around $10,600–$11,600 and plans to bring the repair fund back toward a target of $45,000 over time. Staff were asked to reconcile the ledger with the printouts and incorporate final totals into the budget book.
