Resident asks council to review why her home was excluded from buyout; manager to follow up

During the North End Gateway discussion, resident Linda Macris (S6) said she believes her home was initially identified for a buyout or elevation and that later decisions left her out of the program. "Most of the people you're willing to help... are landlords and private businesses... as far as homeowners, not so much," she said, requesting a hand-count and a review of property-owner classifications.
The city manager (S5) responded that staff had contacted owners in the quadrant and that property-specific constraints — including shared-equity/title restrictions — sometimes determine eligibility for buyouts. He said he did not have all file details at the meeting and offered to pull Linda's file and meet with her, and the chair (S1) committed to place a focused agenda item if the resident remains unsatisfied. "I'll pull the file and review it again," the manager said; he agreed to contact Linda the next day to arrange a follow-up.
