The Labette County Unified School District 506 board met in a special session May 18 at the Curran Administrative Office in Altamont. Jessie Foister called the meeting to order and Superintendent John Wyrick presented a review of the piping loop system at Labette County High School.
After approving the piping loop system bid from S&L Refrigeration for $225,000 (motion by Kevin Cole, second by Greg Bogner; vote 5-0), board member Kevin Cole moved to adjourn. Brian Harlow seconded; the motion to adjourn carried 5-0 and the meeting ended at 7:41 a.m. The board set its next regular meeting for June 14, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. at the Curran Administrative Center.
