Board recognizes LCHS trap shooting team and thanks custodial staff ahead of school year

During the Aug. 9 meeting the Labette County High School Trap Shooting Team presented a brief review of their prior season and said they were "excited for this new school year." Board members and administrators acknowledged the team’s presentation.
District staff and principals, including Donny Peak and Stacy Smith, also publicly thanked custodial and maintenance staff for summer work. Superintendent John Wyrick and principals said building preparations were complete or nearly complete ahead of enrollment and the school year.
