Council approves City Hall closure for software training and updates bank signatories
Summary
The council approved closing City Hall Jan. 12–16, 2026 for Edmunds GovTech training and voted to remove interim signatory Lesli George-Mitzner and add new Treasurer Alexandria Hadley as signatory on city accounts and safety deposit boxes.
City Clerk Jodi Wade requested permission to close City Hall from Jan. 12–16, 2026, to allow staff to participate in the first phase of training on the Edmunds GovTech software; Council Member Mitzner moved to approve the closure and the motion passed 4-0.
The council also approved a motion to remove the interim City Treasurer signatory (Lesli George-Mitzner) from all accounts and certificates of deposit at First Option Bank and Labette Bank and add Alexandria Hadley, the new City Treasurer/Municipal Court Clerk, as signatory on all accounts and safety deposit boxes. The motion was seconded and passed 4-0. Clerk Wade noted Alexandria Hadley started on Dec. 1, 2025, and staff will update bank records accordingly.
The council scheduled KORA/KOMA training for Jan. 17, 2026, and clerk and staff will coordinate notification to surrounding entities for that session.
