The motion to adopt the charge was moved by Councilor Bergeron and seconded by Councilor Dearing; the measure passed by voice vote with no roll-call dissent recorded. The committee will use the charge as a framework for project prioritization and resident outreach going forward.
The Parks & Recreation Committee will next align its work with the council’s strategic plan and begin implementation steps, including outreach and periodic reporting to the council.
