The La Grande SD 1 board on Feb. 25 approved two routine items related to athletics. Directors voted unanimously to approve a cooperative sports agreement with Imbler School District and Elgin School District, and separately approved La Grande High School’s baseball team to travel to Arizona for Spring Break 2026.
Both motions were moved by Director Randy Shaw; the cooperative sports motion was seconded by Director Robin Jolin and the baseball trip motion was seconded by Director Merle Comfort. Votes on both items were unanimous (Ayes: Shaw, Comfort, Jolin, Lindsey and Kevan). The minutes list these as consentable actions with no additional conditions recorded.
