Board approves Center for Human Development and occupational therapy contracts for 2025–26

The La Grande School District No. 1 board approved two service contracts for the 2025–26 year: a contract with the Center for Human Development (CHD) and a contract for an occupational therapist. Director Randy Shaw moved to approve the CHD contract and Director Jake Hanson seconded; the board voted unanimously to approve the contract (Attachment E). Director Robin Jolin moved and Director Bruce Kevan seconded approval of the Occupational Therapist 2025–2026 contract; that motion also passed unanimously (Attachment F).
Both contracts were listed as action items on the Aug. 13 agenda and recorded in the meeting minutes. The board’s unanimous votes indicate district acceptance of the presented terms; specific dollar amounts and contract durations were included in the attachments to the agenda packet (Attachments E and F) but were not read aloud in the meeting transcript.
