Yadkin County adopts revised personnel policies; retiree insurance and longevity pay deferred

On April 20 the Yadkin County Board of Commissioners adopted a revised set of personnel policies after previously reviewing proposed changes April 6. County Manager Michael Silverman told the board the revisions requested by commissioners have been incorporated into the document presented.
No modifications were made to the retiree insurance or the longevity pay plan; staff said those topics will be discussed with the board at a later date. Commissioner Cliff Collins moved to adopt the revised personnel policies and the motion passed 5–0.
