The La Cygne City Council on Jan. 21 approved Purchase Order No. 2026-01 in the amount of $3,025.74 for a 4" Omni T2 water meter to serve the City of Linn Valley connection located on the La Cygne side.
Public Works Director Dan Nasalroad told the council the meter and pit cost were included in the agreement to purchase for the City of Linn Valley and that the meter would be installed by Linn Valley’s contractor. Council Member Jerome Mitzner moved to approve the purchase order; the motion passed 5-0. "Purchase Order No. 2026-01 in the amount of $3025.74 for the purchase of a 4" Omni T2 Meter for the City of Linn Valley water connection," the minutes record.
