During public comment, resident Janice Thresher said she could not find minutes and a grand-list warning online and asked whether meetings had been properly posted. The board and staff acknowledged they had not posted at least one required notice on the town website.
"The step posted on the website was incorrect," a town representative acknowledged; the board said notices had been posted in physical locations and in the Herald but agreed that the website posting was incomplete. The Select Board approved a request to extend the grand-list filing deadline to permit a properly warned grievance meeting and to cure the posting irregularity.
The extension was approved by voice vote; the board indicated it would double-check the town’s posting practices (news and alerts, calendar banner and lister page) to improve public notice going forward.
