The discussion framed several projects scheduled for follow-up in 2026: a stormwater and street master plan that may be paired with a proposed 1% sales-tax ballot question in November 2026, forthcoming conceptual presentations by BG Consultants on city facility improvements (scheduled Feb. 4), and coordination with KDOT and USDA on infrastructure funding and sewer lift station bids. The council set townhall outreach plans for the master plan and tasking of staff to present cost estimates and timelines at upcoming meetings.
