Planning commission approves consent calendar; staff notes lost recording from previous meeting

At its Jan. 20, 2026 meeting, the Wallsburg Town Planning Commission unanimously approved the consent calendar, which included the Jan. 20 agenda and the minutes from the Nov. 25, 2025 meeting. Carrie Mecham called for comments and, hearing none, the commission moved to adopt the consent items with Tammy Graham making the motion and Dennis Phillips seconding; the vote was unanimous.
Alisha O’Driscoll informed the commission that “the recording for the last meeting was lost and these notes are from memory,” and asked commissioners to notify her if they had additions or corrections so minutes could be updated. The commission accepted the minutes despite the lost recording; Foster and staff later advised that a disclaimer be included in minutes when recordings are incomplete. No formal remedy or further action was recorded during the meeting.
