Resident urges creation of Hansen Cemetery maintenance district ahead of May ballot

Andrea Bryant, a Kimberly resident at 130 Taylor St. West, used the public-comment period to ask the community to prepare for the May ballot and consider creating a Hansen Cemetery Maintenance District.
Bryant said voters should “look and research for the upcoming ballot in May” so the community can decide whether to provide ongoing support for the Hansen Cemetery, which her retired-veteran father currently cares for. The Council took no action during public comment; city rules require any item needing council action to be placed on a future agenda for formal consideration.
