The applicant's engineer told the council that adding 10 units produces a modest change in traffic, citing about 4 additional peak‑hour trips and roughly 56 additional trips per day overall, and that queueing and delay impacts would be minimal. Council members and staff said PennDOT would likely require changes to signal timing and that the project will add a crosswalk at the northwest corner and close an existing driveway. The resolution amendment was put on the floor and carried after members voiced ayes.
