District reports progress on maintenance: middle school roof done; LHS vestibule painting nearly finished; HVAC turnover set for Sept. 17

Brad Sunderman reported to the board that several maintenance and capital projects are either complete or near completion. He said the Middle School roof is finished, the LHS vestibule painting is about 90% complete, and the HVAC system will be turned over to the district on Sept. 17, 2025 under the new building management system.
Sunderman also listed completed items including new cameras at Greenwood, Willow, LMS and LHS, new LED main-court lights at LHS, a new high-efficiency domestic water heater at Island City, replaced entry flooring at Island City, Greenwood kitchen upgrades, and an underground sprinkler system at the LHS track. Upcoming projects noted included fencing at Central and Island City, additional irrigation, and updated roller-door sheds for sports storage at LHS.
