Principal Chelsea Hurliman and Principal Chris Wagner told the La Grande School District Board on Sept. 10 that the district's new cell phone policy has been implemented with few issues.
At La Grande Middle School, Hurliman said problems have been minimal; at La Grande High School Wagner reported only a few incidents. The board recorded that there have been no parent complaints to date and that the recently enacted state law is reinforcing the schools' policy approach. The update was part of the meeting's introductions and recognitions portion.
