The La Pine City Council unanimously approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) on March 25 to accept a housing planning assistance grant for the Cagle Subdivision Infill Development Plan. Community Development Director Brent Bybee presented the IGA and asked the Council to authorize the City to proceed with the project and its grant obligations.
Bybee said the grant-funded planning process will include substantial opportunities for public involvement modeled after the public engagement used during La Pine's Comprehensive Plan Update. Councilor Curtis moved to approve the IGA and Council President VanDamme seconded; the motion passed with all members voting aye. Staff will proceed with the project and coordinate outreach and next steps under the terms of the IGA.
