County adds $77,880 to HDR Engineering contract for Division Avenue and Wallach Road work

The board approved Amendment No. 1 to Agreement 231205-17 with HDR Engineering for $77,880 to add services, extend the project completion date to Aug. 31, 2026 and extend bidding assistance through Feb. 26, 2027 for street and infrastructure upgrades on Division Avenue and Wallach Road.
Molly Cook, Laramie County Public Works, told the commission the addendum is needed to provide additional support to the county for the project and to account for coordination with the new 5th and 6th school within Laramie County School District 1. The amendment was moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
Staff said the change reflects a new coordination requirement since the project scope expanded after the initial agreement.
