District highlights CTE building revisions, plans Think BIG Space relaunch with Amazon

Superintendent Heidi Sipe told the board the new middle school CTE building has undergone substantial revisions and that the district has been coordinating with Amazon on the Think BIG Space. She said the district plans an official relaunch of the Think BIG Space in January to coincide with a Robotics program kickoff.
Sipe also reported a small number of neighbor complaints about lighting near the new soccer field. The district will install shields on some lights and offered to purchase blinds for homes adjoining the school’s property line; one additional neighbor requested blinds but the superintendent said the budget does not allow extending the offer to every requester and promised to report estimated costs at the next meeting.
