The Board approved Item 18, a memorandum of understanding between Laramie County and the University of Wyoming to allow the Laramie County 4‑H program to participate in the county fair and to conduct 4‑H activities year‑round.
Commissioner Mark Voss said this is the first year the county will run all of the livestock sales rather than splitting them between 4‑H and FFA, and described the MOU as similar to previous reduced MOUs for facility use. The motion to approve was moved and seconded and passed by roll call.
Staff indicated the MOU formalizes responsibilities between the county and 4‑H for fair activities and livestock sale administration.
