County approves $131,256 design agreement to expand coroner's office

The Board of County Commissioners approved Item 17, a professional services agreement with Design Studio Inc. not to exceed $131,256 to renovate and expand the Laramie County coroner's office.
Molly Cook, Laramie County Public Works, said the selection followed an RFP process and that the project "will provide expanded space for the coroner's office to support operations and community support." The agreement was moved, seconded and approved by roll call without further conditions.
A representative from the design studio was present for questions, and staff indicated the work is expected to be completed within the next year under the scope attached to the agreement.
