The Wallsburg Town Council voted unanimously to approve the February 2026 budget and accompanying check register after a short discussion about street‑repair invoices and snow‑plowing charges. Ron Horton moved to accept the budget and check register; Mary Piccitelli seconded and the Chair called the aye vote.
Councilors asked staff to clarify recurring charges for snow removal and how Class C gas‑tax receipts are recorded in the revenue line. One councilor asked whether the town pays a lump sum for street repair or if the county sends monthly bills; staff answered that the town receives periodic invoices for monthly and occasional work. The motion passed with the Chair announcing the vote was unanimous.
