Lamoille FiberNet’s communications committee reported Sept. 25 that survey response has been positive, a new equipment FAQ was posted, committee meeting dates were realigned with the Executive Finance Committee, and plans are underway for a ribbon‑cutting and press event on Oct. 24 at VSU‑Johnson.
Lisa Birmingham said the communications team will work with CCI on publicity for the event and that the board’s email addresses will be added to the website. She also noted that Eden is now lit for service. The committee will continue public outreach as construction and activations proceed.
No votes were taken on the communications items; the board only received the update and confirmed the schedule for the event.
