Board authorizes RFQ for legal services and clerk administrative RFQ
Summary

At the Oct. 23 meeting Lamoille FiberNet authorized two procurement steps: an RFQ for legal services and an RFQ for clerk/administrative support. Paul Warden moved to authorize issuance of the legal RFQ and Carey Earle seconded; that motion carried unanimously. Later, Paul moved and Trevor Braun seconded authorization to issue a clerk administrative RFQ; that motion also passed unanimously.
Board discussion emphasized the preference for contracting with an organization rather than hiring an individual for post-year administrative needs. Staff (Lisa Birmingham) indicated she would remain available in a consulting role to support a transition after her contract ends.
