Interstate Engineering updated the board that crew patching would begin soon but the mainline paving had been pushed back until Thursday.
Mike (S4) said there were misunderstandings about exclusion zones near the elevator tracks and clarified that the county would repair the portion between the main line and the elevator tracks while the crossing itself would remain the railroad's responsibility. He estimated the repair work for the transition area would be "a couple thousand dollars" and noted it would be small relative to the overall contract value.
