DawnEna Davidson appointed to Harvey County Department on Aging Advisory Council

At the April 14 meeting the Harvey County Commission approved the appointment of DawnEna Davidson to the county Department on Aging Advisory Council to fill the remainder of a term through June 30, 2026 and to serve a three-year term beginning July 1, 2026.
The Aging Council had recommended Davidson; the packet describes her as the executive director at Halstead Housing Authority for five years and notes 40 of the authority’s 60 apartments are designated for older adults and people with disabilities. Commissioner Becky Reimer moved to approve the appointment; Don Schroeder seconded and the board approved the appointment unanimously.
