Harvey County appoints DawnEna Davidson to Department on Aging advisory council

The board unanimously approved DawnEna Davidson to fill a partial term on the Harvey County Department on Aging Advisory Council through June 30, 2026 and to begin a three-year term July 1, 2026–June 30, 2029. Davidson is executive director of the Halstead Housing Authority.
The Harvey County Commission voted unanimously April 14 to appoint DawnEna Davidson to the Department on Aging Advisory Council to complete a term through June 30, 2026 and to begin a three-year term July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029. Becky Reimer moved the appointment and Don Schroeder seconded the motion.
Davidson's application, included in the meeting materials, states she is executive director of the Halstead Housing Authority and that 40 of the authority's 60 apartments are designated for elderly and disabled residents. She is also a member of the Halstead Chamber of Commerce and indicated interest in community service.
