Commission appoints Dr. Robert Dillard as District Coroner for 9th Judicial District

The Harvey County Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution 2026-8 March 17 appointing Dr. Robert Dillard as District Coroner for the 9th Judicial District. County staff advised that Dr. Colin Windham had resigned and that the Harvey County Medical Society had nominated Dr. Dillard; the commission appointed him for the remainder of the current four-year term, ending the second Monday in January 2027. Becky Reimer moved adoption of the resolution; Don Schroeder seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The adopted resolution states that, pursuant to K.S.A. 22a-226, Dr. Robert Dillard is appointed District Coroner and upon taking the oath shall be vested with all powers and duties of the office. The County Clerk administered the oath of office at the meeting.
