During the workshop the superintendent read a detailed allocation list tied to the proposed $1,373,000 supplemental levy. "Athletics, approximately 146,848," the superintendent said when listing athletics-related costs, and later listed specific athletics subitems including coaches' pay, referees and equipment. Security and SRO costs were singled out: "Security school resource, $125,000," the superintendent said, noting the current SRO contract is about $85,500 and has increased roughly 4–5% per year.
Board members questioned where reductions from prior maintenance projects were absorbed; the superintendent said those savings largely spread into salaries and benefits. The presentation also included staffing proposals: "Salaries and benefits for certified and classified staff, approximately 725,000," with additional line items for administrator and FTE increases, and a $9,000 estimate for guest teacher costs.
