The department recommended a temporary construction easement to enter adjacent private property for equipment access and to remove and replace a short section of fencing as needed; the landowner has signed and notarized the easement.
Staff said the planned repair will allow the road to remain open by repairing the culvert in place with ready-mix concrete rather than removing and replacing the entire road. After presentation, the board moved, seconded and approved the temporary construction easement and authorized the chair to sign the document.
There was no recorded roll-call vote; the chair called for "all those in favor" and declared the motion carried by voice vote.
