Commission offers EMA post, approves multiple personnel actions and pay adjustments

Throughout the meeting records commissioners also ratified many emergency hires for the Sheriff's Office and Jail, approved probation-completion salary adjustments (examples include salary adjustments for Joshua Anthony to $62,933 annually effective Jan. 23, 2025), and authorized a one-time salary adjustment for county employees in some sessions. In other sessions the board voted a 7% across-the-board increase effective Oct. 1, 2025 and established $15 as the minimum floor wage for full-time county personnel effective the same date.
