Penney asked the board to consider hiring a part‑time employee to staff the center three hours a day, Monday through Friday, to provide stability for patrons and a consistent contact for contractors and vendors during renovation. Supervisors discussed the timing of an RFP and architect selection for the renovation, grant match requirements and public‑procurement processes, and encouraged the senior center to continue fundraising and return details on costs and how any county match would be handled.
