Meagher County signs Area IV aging contract; health nurse reports programs and training

County Health Nurse Eva Kerr distributed the County Health Department's September 2025 report and the Area IV Agency on Aging contract; Chairman Ben Hurwitz approved and signed the contract during the meeting. Kerr briefed commissioners on vaccinations, grant activity, school-based CPR training and homemaker respite services and stated she had "signed the yearly contract for Homemaker."
Kerr also reported that she and Cody Wilson conducted a "Stop the Bleed" training session and plan to offer an additional class for teachers in the spring. The report included briefings on preparedness planning for a potential outbreak in local schools as well as Hepatitis B laboratory testing and recent animal-bite incidents; commissioners received the written County Health Department and Board of Health reports.
